Do you provide patio enclosures nationwide?
Yes. We provide enclosures across the United States and specialize in partnering with architects and restaurant groups with multiple locations. While headquartered in Texas, our team is located throughout the country to serve you efficiently.
Do you offer on-site services?
Our team visits your site twice:
- To discuss your project and finalize design plans.
- To professionally install your enclosure after production.
We manage the entire process to ensure a seamless and high-quality experience.
Do you handle residential projects?
No. Since 2016, we have focused exclusively on commercial projects and no longer offer residential services.
What is the minimum project size?
- Fully installed enclosures: $10,000 minimum.
- Materials only (uninstalled): $8,000 minimum.
For multiple locations, we can discuss flexible options tailored to your needs.
How does the process work after deciding to move forward?
After a 50% deposit:
- On-Site Consultation: Within 5 business days, our Installation Team will schedule a site visit with a designer (typically within 1–2 weeks).
- Manufacturing: Your custom enclosure is produced after finalizing the design (usually 2–4 weeks).
- Shipping & Installation: The enclosure ships directly to you (typically 3–5 business days after manufacturing) and is professionally installed by our team.
Typical timeline: 4–8 weeks from deposit to completion, depending on project complexity and season. Peak season is September–February; please check with your salesperson for current delivery times.
How do I clean my enclosure?
Spray the enclosure with a water hose and use mild soap as needed. For clear vinyl, polish with a microfiber cloth and 210 Vinyl Polish (available on Amazon) once dry. Clean every 3–6 months for optimal longevity.
What warranty do you offer?
- Workmanship: 3 years
- Motors: 5-year replacement warranty via the manufacturer
Will the enclosures retain heat on my patio?
Yes. Our enclosures are designed to create a sealed environment that effectively retains heat or cooling using high-quality solid and clear vinyl materials. Simply dropping the enclosures will provide an immediate 10-degree difference in temperature. Our enclosures are designed with NFPA-701 ratings to be used in conjunction with patio heaters to keep your customers warm deep into winter.
What is the wind rating of your enclosures?
- Manual roll enclosures: up to 45 mph sustained winds
- Motorized roll enclosures: up to 65 mph sustained winds
How should I operate the enclosure during a sudden high-wind storm?
- Manual roll enclosures: If you are able to roll them up and secure them PRIOR to the windstorm, this will preserve the longevity of the curtains. If you are already experiencing high winds, unzip the sides; do not attempt to roll up or down during high winds.
- Motorized enclosures: If you are able to roll them up and secure them PRIOR to the windstorm, this will preserve the longevity of the curtains. If you are already experiencing high winds, leave the enclosures in place; do not try to roll them up or down during high winds.
Are your enclosures fire-rated?
Yes. All vinyl materials meet NFPA-701 standards, the industry benchmark recognized by fire marshals nationwide.
Do you offer doors for egress requirements?
Yes. We provide custom, removable framed doors that match the enclosure vinyl while meeting fire marshal egress requirements.
Do your enclosures provide wind, rain, and sun protection?
Yes. Options include:
- Solid and clear vinyl enclosures: Protect against wind, rain, and cold, while maintaining temperature control.
- Heavy-duty sun shades: Provide sun and wind protection as well as moderate rain and cold protection.
Both are available in manual and motorized configurations.
Where can I see examples of your work?
- Contact your salesperson for nearby commercial installations.
- Visit our online portfolio: www.southernpatioenclosures.com/patio-enclosures-portfolio
We do not maintain physical showrooms; our portfolio and local projects demonstrate our work.
Do you offer Sunbrella canvas for enclosures?
We use durable vinyl instead of canvas. Canvas is prone to abrasion, which can wear or unravel over time due to contact with the ground or posts. Vinyl provides long-lasting durability and clarity with proper care.
Are the enclosures waterproof?
Yes. Our vinyl materials provide excellent protection against rain and wind.
Can motorized enclosures be operated during a power outage?
Manual override options are available; contact your salesperson for details.
Do you offer financing?
Yes. We can discuss payment options tailored to your project—please reach out to learn more.
What if repairs are needed after the warranty expires?
Post-warranty repair services are available; contact us for a quote.
