Hotels & Event Venues
Every successful event starts with a space that feels inviting, comfortable, and adaptable. For most properties that space is outdoors — and for much of the year, weather decides whether you can sell it.
Expanding Event Potential
For hotels and event venues, the most valuable space on the property is often a patio, terrace, or rooftop that offers the perfect blend of atmosphere and flexibility. Rain, wind, heat, or cold turns that same space into an unpredictable risk.
A commercial patio enclosure gives you the freedom to host year-round. Our systems extend the usable life of patios, courtyards, and rooftop lounges, so a property can say yes to more events, more often.
We work with hotel groups, resorts, country clubs, and standalone venues, and we coordinate with your operations team so installs land between bookings rather than through them.
Common venue applications
- Rooftop bars and upper-level terraces
- Ballroom pre-function terraces and lawns
- Resort pool decks and cabana rows
- Country club patios and halfway houses
- Porte-cochère and arrival-area wind protection
Sell the Space, Not the Forecast
Hospitality professionals know no two events are the same. One day it is a corporate reception, the next a wedding party or a fundraising gala. Outdoor space elevates all of them — until weather moves in.
An event venue's worst conversation is the weather call: the one where a planner asks what happens if it rains and you have to describe a backup room that is not the space they fell in love with. An enclosure removes that conversation entirely. The terrace is the terrace, in November, in a downpour, at 40 degrees.
Clear retractable panels shield guests from wind and rain while keeping visibility and natural light. When the weather is good, the enclosure opens fully and the open-air ambiance guests came for is back. That flexibility is what makes the space more rentable — and it is a different product to sell, priced differently.
Engineered for Performance and Presentation
When you are choosing a weather solution for a hospitality property, appearance matters as much as performance. Event clients expect elegance, not compromise. Our motorized enclosures are designed to integrate with existing architectural features and décor, and deploy at the push of a button.
Clear vinyl running in a keder track behind a slim powder-coated aluminum frame reads as glass from across a courtyard. MaxView panels run up to 23 feet wide with clear-to-clear welded seams specifically to avoid the segmented, tent-like look that cheaper systems produce.
These specifications are what let a property manager treat the enclosure as a long-term asset rather than a seasonal expense.
What every system includes
- Extruded aluminum track components for strength and stability
- Engineered wind resistance proven on rooftop and coastal sites
- Precision-welded vinyl seams that resist tearing and separation
- NFPA 701 flame-rated materials for public assembly spaces
- 3-year workmanship warranty and 5-year motor warranty
More Events, More Revenue
From an operations standpoint, weather protection is not really about comfort — it is about utilization. An outdoor event space available twelve months a year is a fundamentally different line on the P&L than one available five.
Weddings, cocktail hours, conferences, and holiday parties stop hinging on a forecast. Being able to guarantee the space regardless of season is what drives client confidence, and it is what gets the repeat booking.
For hotels the advantage compounds. A well-enclosed terrace or rooftop bar becomes premium space for private dining, VIP events, or overflow seating for the restaurant below — without holding a ballroom in reserve as a weather hedge.
Book Without a Weather Clause
Contract the outdoor space with confidence instead of holding a backup room.
Higher Rate Per Event
Guaranteed usable outdoor space is a premium product, not a weather-dependent discount.
Revenue From Existing Square Footage
No construction, no addition — space you already own, working more of the year.
Built Around How the Property Actually Runs
Hotels and venues run on tight operational margins, so the system has to be usable by whoever is on shift. Larger venues typically take motorized enclosures with side tracks; smaller courtyards are often better served by a manual system. Both move between enclosed and open-air in minutes.
Staff open panels for a sunny afternoon and close them as the temperature drops in the evening. Because the systems are built for daily cycling, that stays true after years of use rather than degrading into something the team avoids touching.
We sequence installation around your event calendar and blackout dates. On an operating property, when the work happens matters nearly as much as what gets installed.
Operational fit
- Motorized for large spans and high-frequency use
- Manual for smaller courtyards and tighter budgets
- Egress doors and fixed gable panels where occupancy codes require
- Installed between bookings, around your event calendar
- Nationwide service after the sale, not just at install
Designed for Brand Consistency
For hotel groups and multi-property brands, keeping outdoor space visually and functionally consistent across locations is genuinely difficult. Different markets, different buildings, different exposure — and a guest who sees both properties.
We support multi-site operators with standardized specifications, so the same enclosure system carries from a coastal resort to a downtown rooftop. That consistency strengthens brand recognition and simplifies life for corporate engineering and procurement teams, who can approve a specification once rather than re-evaluating every property.
If you are rolling out across a portfolio, our multi-location process covers how we keep one specification intact across many sites.
A Partner in Event Excellence
We collaborate with architects, facility engineers, and event operations teams so an installation supports the design intent and the operational reality at the same time. On a working hospitality property those two things are frequently in tension.
Our work in this sector runs from rooftop lounges at hotels including a Marriott AC Moxy property, to country club event spaces, to upper-level terraces like The Henry in Dallas. Those projects share a pattern: complex access, an active property, and a completion date that could not move.
Architects and GCs can pull specification detail directly from our architect resources, including flame certification and submittal data.
The long-term advantage
- Year-round venue use without tent rentals or temporary structures
- Conditioned air contained during extreme seasons
- Lower maintenance through aluminum framing and welded vinyl
- Guest comfort and visibility preserved in any weather
- Underused square footage converted into bookable space
Common Questions
Can you work on an upper-level terrace or rooftop?
Yes. The Henry in Dallas is an upper-level terrace install. Rooftop work requires additional planning for access, lift staging, and wind exposure, and we cover all of it during the design consultation. See difficult installations for how we approach constrained sites.
Will it look like a tent?
No. Clear vinyl in a keder track with a slim powder-coated aluminum frame reads as glass at a distance. MaxView panels run up to 23' wide with clear-to-clear welded seams specifically to avoid a segmented, tent-like look.
What about occupancy and fire code?
All vinyl is NFPA 701 flame retardant — Super Clear PVC passed NFPA 701-2019 Test Method #2, and the solid vinyl border is registered with the California State Fire Marshal under F-41501, covering NFPA 701 Test 1 and Test 2, CPAI-84, and NYC MEA. Egress doors are designed into the system. Permits are rarely required; in the exceptions, typically historic buildings, the customer is responsible for permitting.
Can you match our brand colors?
Solid vinyl borders come in White, Yellow, Orange, Red, Brown, Tan, Green, Lime, Light Blue, Charcoal, Royal Blue, Navy, Dark Purple, Gray, and Black. Powder-coated aluminum comes in White, Black, Bronze, Slate Gray, Sky Grey, Sandstone, Almond, Sierra Tan, and Taupe.
Can you install without shutting the property down?
That is the normal case. We sequence work around your event calendar and blackout dates, and on multi-phase properties we stage by area so the rest of the venue keeps operating.
