Parry’s Pizzeria, Fort Worth: Sixteen Feet Tall and Motorized
Parry’s Pizzeria & Taphouse is a Denver brand that builds big, bright stores, and the Fort Worth one has a patio that wraps a corner with openings sixteen feet tall. The owners wanted shade and wind control they could run from a remote, with the patio reading as part of the black storefront. The answer was eight motorized screens in black mesh with clear windows, two framed doors, and six new posts to carry it all.

What made this one different
Sixteen feet. That is at the top of what a single motorized screen will do, and the widest of these is 21 feet, so the posts, hoods and weight bars are the heavy version and the design consultation set every one of them against the new steel. Mesh with a clear window gives the patio shade by day and a view at night without a second system.
