Pavilion and Event Venue Enclosures

We install manual roll-down clear vinyl panels on the open sides of a pavilion, motorized panels where the space is used every day, and fixed panels on any side that never needs to open. The enclosure keeps the pavilion rentable in wind, rain and cold, and when the weather turns nice the panels roll up and the pavilion is open again.

We work with HOAs, wedding and event venues, country clubs, breweries, vineyards, RV resorts and clubhouses.

How a pavilion job works

  1. A quote from your sizes and photos. Send the opening sizes and a few photos and you get a firm number with drawings of the panels, doors and any posts. Every quote carries a $500 design consultation line.
  2. Deposit. The deposit is 50%.
  3. Design consultation and build. Our designer measures the pavilion on site and confirms the layout, doors and colors before anything is built. Lead time from deposit is about 6 weeks for manual systems, 8 weeks with framed metal doors, and 8 weeks for motorized.
  4. Install by our crew. We do not subcontract. Our own crew installs, and the balance is due after install.

Many pavilions have no beam or wall to hang a panel from. In that case we add powder-coated aluminum posts and headers, so the panels have something solid to track along. Doors go where people walk through: a zipper door, or a framed metal door with a closer.

Which system fits depends on how the space is used:

  • Manual roll-down (rope-and-pulley or hand-rolled) suits rental pavilions where staff or a caretaker opens and closes it. Rated to 45 mph tied down, with panels up to 12 feet wide zipped together across spans of up to 60 feet.
  • Motorized suits a pavilion that opens and closes daily, such as a brewery patio or a clubhouse. Rated to 65 mph deployed.
  • Fixed panels go on openings that never need to open, such as the weather side of the building.

What it costs

We price manual systems by the square foot of opening and motorized systems by the unit. These ranges come from our 2026 quotes:

SystemRangeTypical
Manual roll-down$2,000 (one panel) to $60,000about $21,000
Motorized$11,000 (two units) to $108,000 (16 units)about $47,000
Mixed manual and motorizedabout $58,000

As one example, a recent quote for a manual pavilion in upstate South Carolina came to about $30,000 installed, travel included. It was 12 panels plus a door, about 1,271 square feet.

What moves the price: the number and size of the openings, manual versus motorized, doors, posts and headers where there is no structure, a lift rental for a tall pavilion, and distance from Texas. Jobs we can pair with other work in the same region cost less to reach. Our minimum is $10,000 installed.

HOA boards and approvals

Boards and county offices usually want paper before they say yes. We supply:

  • Drawings of the proposed enclosure.
  • NFPA 701 flame certificates. All of our vinyl is NFPA 701 certified (Tests 1 and 2), and the solid border is registered with the California State Fire Marshal under F-41501.
  • Product documents and specification sheets.

The owner or HOA pulls any permit that applies. Egress doors are designed into the layout.

Questions

How much wind can a pavilion enclosure handle?

Manual panels are rated to 45 mph when tied down with D-ring tie-downs. Motorized panels are rated to 65 mph deployed. For an exposed site, we will tell you at the design consultation whether motorized is the better choice.

Is the vinyl fire rated?

Yes. All of our vinyl is NFPA 701 certified. The clear vinyl passed NFPA 701-2019 Test Method 2, and the solid border is registered with the California State Fire Marshal under F-41501.

Can the panels come down for summer?

Yes. Manual vinyl panels can be removed and stored through the warm months. Manual enclosure track and sun shade track can also be mounted back to back, so the same opening runs clear vinyl in cold weather and shade fabric in hot weather.

How long does an enclosure last?

About 5 years in commercial hospitality use with proper maintenance. Manual systems carry a 3-year warranty against manufacturer defects. Motorized systems carry a 5-year motor warranty and a 3-year workmanship warranty.

Can we finance it?

Most of our customers do. Financing is through LEAF Commercial Capital, an equipment lease with a fixed monthly payment and e-signature.

How far will you travel?

We install nationwide, with our own crews based in Central Texas. We have completed jobs in Texas, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Colorado, Pennsylvania and Maryland. Travel for the design visit and the install crew is part of the price. A pavilion near another job we have in the region costs less to reach.
