Pluckers Wing Bar: 19 Texas Patios Since 2017, One Charcoal Standard
Pluckers is an Austin wing bar that grew into a Texas chain with the same formula at every store: TVs, a long covered patio, and a crowd that shows up for the game whatever the weather. Since 2017 we have enclosed nineteen Pluckers patios with the same manual roll-up panels in charcoal with clear windows, so a Pluckers in Mesquite reads the same as a Pluckers in San Antonio.
What we built
- Customer: Pluckers Wing Bar, Austin, Texas.
- 19 locations across Austin, Round Rock, Cedar Park, San Antonio, Houston and its suburbs, Dallas, Fort Worth, Mesquite and Shenandoah.
- More than 200 manual roll-up panels in charcoal with clear vinyl windows, rope-and-pulley, with zipper doors where the patio needs an exit.
- About 18,000 square feet of enclosure.
- Second phases: a gable panel added at Round Rock in 2021, the Round Rock patio redone in 2023, and the South Lamar patio rebuilt in 2026 with new canopies by Austin Awning.
- General contractor on the newer builds: Capital Constructors Group, Austin, who ran Alamo Ranch, Katy, Southpark Meadows and Shenandoah with us.

How it runs
Pluckers opens stores in waves. Four Houston-area patios went in during one week of September 2023. Five more across Austin, San Antonio and Houston followed in 2025. Each wave is one quote, one round of design consultations, one order to the shop, and one crew route, so the group gets the same panel at the same price in every city and does not restart the conversation for each store.

What made this one different
Longevity and the redo. The 2017 South Lamar patio ran nine seasons before the canopy above it wore out, and in 2026 we rebuilt it with Austin Awning replacing the covers while our crew hung new panels the same week. Round Rock went the same way, with a gable panel added in 2021 and the full set replaced in 2023. A chain that keeps calling the same enclosure company back for nine years is the reference we point new groups to.
