Measure Your Patio in 5 Minutes
Three numbers and two photos are all we need for a firm quote. Here is exactly what to grab — and if a rep is in your area, we will come measure for you.
The Three Numbers
1. Width of each opening — post to post, in inches, for every opening you want enclosed. Label them W1, W2, W3…
2. Height — floor to the beam or header the enclosure mounts to. One number if it is the same all around.
3. Count the openings — and tell us which (if any) need a door or walk-through.
The Two Photos
One from inside the patio looking out, one from outside looking at the patio. Phone photos are perfect — they show us mounting surfaces, obstructions, and power for motorized systems.
A tape measure and five minutes. That is the whole job — no drawings required. Have architectural drawings anyway? Send those and skip the tape.
What Happens Next — the honest timeline
So you can put us on a real schedule (contractors: yes, we slot into master schedules).
1 · Quote
Ballpark on the first reply; firm quote once we have the three numbers. Motorized and manual pricing, side by side.
2 · Deposit & Field Measure
50% deposit books you in. Our designer field-verifies every dimension — the quote numbers get us close, ours make it perfect.
3 · Manufacturing
Motorized runs about 8 weeks from deposit; manual roll-up about 6 weeks (8 with doors). Built to your patio, not pulled from a shelf.
4 · Install
Days, not weeks — a crew installs roughly three motorized curtains a day. Minimal disruption; most restaurants never close.
What Your Quote Includes
The same crew that measures your patio comes back to install it.
SPE Full Install
Included: field measure, manufacturing, freight, professional installation by our crew, sealing and adjustment, walkthrough and sign-off.
The number on a Full Install quote is the whole number.
Motorized or Manual?
We quote both on purpose. Manual is the right call for plenty of patios — not the consolation prize.
Motorized
One switch, whole patio. Best for tall or wide openings, daily open/close cycles, and staff-proof operation. Higher investment; ~8-week lead time.
Manual Roll-Up
Rope-and-pulley, commercial-grade — the same vinyl and welded seams. Best for smaller openings and budgets that want weather protection this season. ~6-week lead time.
Need a Landlord, Board or GC to Sign Off?
Approvals kill more projects than price does. We arm you for the meeting.
Ask your rep for the submittal package: shop drawings, wind ratings, NFPA 701 flame certificates, and CAD details your landlord, HOA, village board or general contractor will ask for. We produce it for every project — getting it early usually turns a two-month approval into a two-week one.
Ready to turn your patio into year-round revenue?
Tell us about your space and we'll come back with a design and a number. Commercial projects only — $10,000 minimum, installed.
